天津文化是运河文化和海洋文化交融的产物,具有开放而又自成一体的独特风格,天津是中国历史文化名城,也是北方文化艺术的发祥地之一,素有“戏剧摇篮”、“曲艺之乡”的美誉。天津非物质文化遗产丰富,已有杨柳青木版年画、相声、评剧、天津时调等30多个项目入选国家级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录。天津是中国北方地区妈祖文化的中心,祭祀妈祖的“皇会”作为天津民俗文化延续了数百年。
天津拥有丰富的自然旅游资源和浓缩近代历史、汇聚现代文明的人文资源,形成了大气洋气、清新靓丽、中西合璧、古今交融的城市风貌。1999年天津就被评选为首批“中国优秀旅游城市”之一。天津全力打造近代文化游、都市博览游、海河风光游、滨海休闲游、山野名胜游、旅游博览会等特色旅游品牌,加快建设旅游强市、打造国际旅游目的地和集散地。
以五大道风情区为代表的近代历史文化旅游资源,让天津成为世界了解近代中国的最佳选择。72公里长的海河形成了独特的水路风光,“乘游船,赏海河”已成为天津旅游特色品牌。滨海旅游区拥有国际邮轮母港、航母主题公园等独特的旅游资源,是中国邮轮旅游产业发展试验区。位于天津滨海文化中心的滨海图书馆被《时代》周刊评为“全球100个值得一去的地方”第一名。有“海上故宫”之称的国家海洋博物馆于2019年建成开馆。蓟州区拥有国家5A级旅游景区盘山，以及黄崖关长城、独乐寺等名胜古迹。宁河区七里海湿地自然保护区以其珍稀的古海岸遗迹和独特的芦苇沼泽湿地生态系统吸引了众多游客。天津拥有丰富的民俗文化旅游资源。石家大院是迄今为止中国北方保存最好、规模最大的清代民宅建筑群之一;杨柳青古镇是中国历史上“四大名镇”之一,先后荣获“中国魅力文化传承名镇”“中国历史文化名镇”和“国家特色景观旅游名镇”等称号；杨柳青木版年画入选中国首批国家级非物质文化遗产名录,排名美术类第一。
Tianjin is a famous historical and cultural city,where canal culture and marine culture work together, and one of the birthplaces of northem culture and art. It is known as the "cradle of drama" and the "hometown of quyi art". Tianjin boasts plentiful intangible cultural heritage.More than 30 items have been listed as representative national intangible cultural heritage. Tianjin is the center of Matzu (sea goddess) culture in northern China, and the "Huanghui" ceremony that worships Matzu has been as a folk custom in Tianjin for hundreds of years.
Tianjin boasts abundant natural tourism resources and humanistic resource that reflect modem history and civilizations, integrating the western with the Chinese, the past with the present. In 1999 ,Tianjin was selected as one of the first "Excellent Tourism Cties of China". A series of distinct tourism brands have been created in Tlanjin, such as modern culture tour, urban expo tour ,Haihe River landscape tour, coastal leisure tour, mountain scenic attractions tour, and tourism expo.
The historical and cultural tourism resources represented by the Wudadao Tourist Area make Tianjin the best choice for the world to understand modern China. The 72-km Haihe River presents a unique waterway scenery. The tour along the Haihe River has become a characteristic brand of Tanjin tourism. The coastal tourist area has unique tourism resources such as the intemational cruise ship home port and the aircraft carfier theme park. It is a pilot zone for the development of China's cruise tourism industry. The Binha Library, located in Tianin Binhai Cultural Center, was named one of the"top 100 places in the world" by Time magazine. The National Maritime Museum, known as the "Forbidden City of the Sea", has been opened in 2019. In Jizhou District ,there is the national AAAAA-class tourist antraction -Mount Pan shan, as well as Huangyaguan Great Wall, Dule Temple and other places of interest. With its rare ancient coastal relics and unique reed marsh wetland ecosystem, Qilihai Wetland Nature Reserve in Ninghe District has attracted numerous tourists. Tianjin boasts a wealth of folk culture tourism resources. The Shis' Complex is one of the best preserved and largest residential build inas of the Qing Dynasty in northern China .Yangliuqing Ancient Town, one of the "four famous towns' in Chinese history has won the title of "China's famous town of cultural heritage". Yangliuging Woodblock New Year Painting was included in China' s first list of national intangible cutural heritage,ranking the first in the category of the fine arts.
